The DMWF Awards Committee is the official responsible for the nomination, evaluation, selection, and conferment of the Dr. M. A. Wazed Miah International Gold Medal.
The Committee is entrusted with upholding the integrity, prestige, and credibility of the award by ensuring that every stage of the selection process is conducted with fairness, transparency, impartiality, and the highest ethical standards.
Nomination
Candidates for the Dr. M. A. Wazed Miah International Gold Medal are nominated by the Committee Members of Award providing advisory board. The Committee identifies distinguished individuals from Bangladesh and around the world whose exceptional achievements, visionary leadership, professional excellence, innovation, and dedicated service have made significant contributions to society, national development, and humanity.
Nominations are based on the nominee’s accomplishments, integrity, influence, and sustained impact within their respective fields.
Evaluation and Selection
Each nomination undergoes a rigorous and comprehensive evaluation by the DWMF Awards Committee. The Committee carefully reviews the nominee’s qualifications, achievements, leadership, ethical conduct, and the significance of their contributions at the national or international level.
Recipients are selected solely on merit, without discrimination based on nationality, ethnicity, religion, gender, or political affiliation. The Committee remains committed to maintaining an independent, objective, and confidential selection process.

The decisions of the DMWF Awards Committee are final and are made in accordance with the Foundation’s principles of excellence, integrity, impartiality, and public service.

- Submission Method: While the foundation often accepts digital inquiries, certain high-level nominations may require in-person filing or the submission of hard copies to the Board Committee in Dhaka to ensure document authenticity.
- Verification: Ensure all nomination papers are verified by the Nomination Board & Jury Committee before the final evaluation by the 15-member global board
