A.H.M. Shafiquzzaman,  is a prominent  public administrator former labour and employment secretary and former Director General of the Directorate of National Consumers Right Protection (DNCRP). He has been elected  president of the Consumers Association of Bangladesh (CAB) for a two-year term (2026-28).

He was awarded the 11th Dr. M.A. Wazed Miah International Gold Medal-2021 for his work in public service.
